Records, 1RM and progress charts

Your records for each exercise

Musku remembers your best performances for each exercise. It flags a record the moment you beat it, during your workout, and saves it on the exercise's page.

Records and estimated 1RM are free. Progress charts are part of the Premium subscription.

The records Musku tracks

  • max weight: the heaviest load lifted;
  • estimated 1RM: your theoretical one-rep max;
  • set volume: load × reps;
  • max reps: your highest number of reps, for bodyweight and resistance bands.

For cardio, Musku keeps your longest distance and your longest duration.

A trophy the moment it happens

During a workout, as soon as a set beats a record, its pill turns into a gold trophy. Tap it to see the old record, the new one and the difference. The end-of-workout summary lists all of the day's records, ready to share.

On an exercise's page, in the Stats tab, tap a record to find the workout where you set it.

What is estimated 1RM?

1RM (“one-rep max”) is the heaviest load you could lift once on an exercise. It is a commonly used benchmark for maximal strength.

Musku estimates it from your sets, with the Epley formula: load × (1 + reps / 30). For example, 80 kg lifted 8 times gives an estimated 1RM of about 101 kg. That way you follow your estimated 1RM over time without ever having to load the bar to your maximum.

Progress charts for each exercise

With Premium, every exercise has its charts: 1RM, max weight, volume, reps, and for cardio distance, speed and time, over 30 days, 3 months, 1 year or all time.

Common questions

How does Musku calculate estimated 1RM?

With the Epley formula: load × (1 + reps / 30), applied to your sets. It is an estimate: it is meant to follow a trend over time, not to replace a true max test.

Is record tracking free?

Yes. Record detection, estimated 1RM and each exercise's history are free. Only progress charts are part of the Premium subscription.
