Muscle distribution

How many sets for each muscle?

Musku counts your sets per muscle group: the ones you have already done, and the ones your program plans for the weeks ahead.

Muscle distribution is part of the Premium subscription.

Your sets per muscle group

Muscle distribution adds up your working sets for each muscle group, over the week or the month.

To help you gauge your training volume, Musku uses indicative reference points based on a range of 10 to 20 sets per week per muscle group. In the app, they appear as the “Low”, “Optimal” and “High” zones.

These reference points help you quickly identify muscles that get little or a lot of work. They remain indicative: the right volume depends on your level, your goal and your ability to recover.

Your program's distribution, before you follow it

From a folder, “Program muscle distribution” analyses your workouts as they are planned.

Musku works out the number of sets planned for each muscle group, and spots the muscles missing from the program as well as those trained only as secondary.

Tap a muscle to see which exercises in the program work it.

Clear counting rules

Only working sets are counted: warm-up sets are excluded. Secondary muscles can also be included, each set then counting for half.
