Account deletion

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your Musku account, the app published by Julien Legrand, and what happens to your data.

Delete your account from the app

This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

Delete your account by email

If you can no longer access the app, write to email@musku.app from the address linked to your account and ask for its deletion. We handle such requests within 30 days.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to delete your account to erase data. From the app you can delete a workout from your history, a measurement, a workout template, a folder or an exercise you created, one at a time.

For a broader request, write to email@musku.app stating what you want erased.

What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

Your email address is anonymised rather than erased, so that a deleted account cannot be recreated to work around a limitation.

Your training data may be kept in anonymised form, with no link to you, for aggregate statistics about how the app is used.

Billing records tied to a subscription are kept for the period required by accounting law, ten years. They are held by Google Play or Apple, not by us.

Technical logs (IP addresses, errors) are purged after twelve months at the latest.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought on Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it from your store settings, otherwise it will keep being charged.
