Apple Health and Health Connect

Your workouts in Health, your weight in Musku

Musku integrates with Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android. You can turn on the sync of your workouts and that of your measurements separately.

Free.

Your workouts, saved as workouts

When the sync is on, every finished workout can be saved to Apple Health or Health Connect as a strength training workout, with its duration and an estimate of energy burned. It then appears alongside your other activities.

Your measurements, both ways

On iPhone, weight, body fat and waist can be synced with Apple Health. On Android, Health Connect supports weight and body fat; waist stays in Musku only.

A reading saved by a compatible smart scale can therefore show up in Musku automatically. When you turn it on, Musku can import up to one year of history.

You stay in control

Both options live in Profile → ⚙︎ Settings. You can turn either sync off at any time, from Musku or from your phone's settings.

Common questions

Where does the energy burned saved to Health come from?

It is an estimate worked out from the duration of your workout, not a direct measurement. It gives an order of magnitude.

Does waist circumference sync on Android?

No. Health Connect has no such measurement: on Android, your waist stays in Musku. On iPhone, it can be synced with Apple Health.

Does Musku read my other health data?

No. Musku only accesses the data needed for the syncs you turn on: weight, body fat and, on iPhone, waist. Workouts are only written to Health. Heart rate is measured by the Apple Watch during the workout.
